This lecture will give an ambitious overview of WikiProjects, competitions, editathons and other types of initiatives related to Sustainability across all the different Wikimedia projects.

This lecture will aim to give a near complete overview of initiatives related to Sustainability across all the different Wikimedia projects. It will cover WikiProjects, competitions, editathons and other types of initiatives, all having in common that they are related to Sustainability. The overview will present how the projects relate to the Sustainable Development Goals, and the objective is that participants should feel knowledgeable about how they could contribute to the movement strategy Topics for impact. As a base for this research is the mapping sessions that were done in Wikimania 2021 and then subsequently also at WikiConference North America and WikiIndaba.
